  Georgina's isn't just a restaurant I happened upon where I only ate once. Lucky for me they are only less than 30 minutes away from my home, and I can go there just about anytime I please. My absolute favorite is their meatballs. I'm a meatball snob from way back and it takes a lot to impress me. I've eaten in some of the finest Italian restaurants in CT and, believe it or not, theirs are the best. The meat is always of the highest quality and the flavor is perfect. Only my mother made near comparable meatballs but Georgina's are better ( even she and my dad thought so). There are too many pasta dishes to name but they all have one fabulous thing in common...the sauce. It's not too sweet, too salty or too sour (all a crime, as far as I'm concerned). When I allow myself to indulge in pizza, I go to Georgina's. They make the best pizza in town, hands down, but my absolute favorite is the calzone. I order it so often that the wait staff know just how I want it (spinach and mushroom, ricotta cheese only, cooked well...and don't forget the side of meatballs!). They have a wide variety of items on the menu, but when I love something, I stick with that one thing. However, Georgina's makes my selection difficult because sometimes I just can't make up my mind. I have too many "favorites" there. A little dinner at Georgina's with a nice glass of wine...perfect. Add to that a friendly and efficient wait staff and you can't go wrong. And they don't rush you out the door either. When my girlfriends and I get together for good food and conversation, we able to enjoy both without the pressure of having to finish up and get out. I'm so grateful that Georgina's is practically in my backyard.
